Founder of StressCare & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Association
Caroline’s positive journey is an amazing story of courage, resilience and dedication to helping people who have suffered from or are suffering from, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, in any shape or form.
Caroline will tell you her story, about how she became a hostage in South Africa, only being released with the efforts of the USA.
From then on, Caroline began her own recovery from PSTD and underwent many “therapies” and support processes to overcome the extreme impact of her hostage situation upon her life. Caroline then went on to develop her own PTSD recovery programme and discovered that many people with all forms of mental health distress were able to use it to change their lives around in a positive way.

StressCare Colour Wheel
The StressCare Colour Wheel programme is currently being evaluated as an accredited course and Caroline wants to disseminate the programme across Europe and even further afield. Together with Plymouth Mind, StressCare is looking to create an EU funded project in 2016 to test, evaluate and accredit a training programme for mental health support practitioners to use.
